El Manglar in Zihuatanejo

The place is outdoors there are many iguanas that attract attention since it is literally next to a mangrove swamp, the food is delicious. Highly recommended.

El Manglar is a special place. At the southern end of Playa La Ropa, hidden in the cooling shade of the estuary. Iguanas and crocs. Food and service both excellent. Best tiritas ever.

Fun place for lunch while spending a day at Playa La Ropa. Munch nachos while watching the local alligators.

Quality tasty food. Fish filets are tasty. Lizards , wildlife, and live music are present.

Everything great as usual. Garlic seafood sampler, guacomole, and tiritas all excellent. Margaritas good. Service more than acceptable...and the iguanas, birds, and crocodiles all put on a show today!

It's an amazing place ,enjoyed a lot of the view and the iguanas near me, El manglar have a great costumer service, delicious food and drinks, make feel like a family member i come back every time when I came to my vacation. Thank you El manglar's staff.

Best food in La Ropa Beach

Great food, good service!

I did not like the Sin Sazón seafood broth it tasted absolutely nothing. Neither the hearty garlic octopus with white wine, fish and shrimp too dry seafood. Overall, I was pretty disappointed as I expected more from google comments. And it is NOT cheap. (I approached the cook and expressed my opinion).

We have been coming to Zihuatanejo every year for over 20 years and El Manglar is the first restaurant we hit for dinner... ALWAYS CONSISTENT and DELICIOUS!! Memo, the owner, has it down.. The garlic Octopus is my favorite but the 27 spice seared tuna is a very close second.. But everything is served well and extremely fresh.... A nice breeze flows through this open air seafood restaurant located at the end of Playa La Ropa.... Well worth the trip !!

It is a place that has a mangrove, with real crocodiles, a lot of iguanas, many birds and a jungle environment. A beautiful place on the beach, with a great kitchen and great service.

I love this place. I had the best blackened tuna there that I've ever eaten in my life! I have eaten a lot of tuna.
